IDO - 6 month Amendments

On November 13, 2017 Council adopted the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) via O-17-49, and the draft was enacted on November 17, 2017. The IDO becomes effective on May 17, 2018, 6 months from the enactment date.

As planned, the project team gathered comments from staff and the public about errors and omissions that should be addressed to make the IDO clearer and easier to use and administer.

  • The City Council adopted the first set of 6-month amendments to the adopted IDO via O-18-11, which included 13 exhibits. These amendments will be included in the final document as soon as possible and posted on the Planning publication page as well as this project website.
  • The City Council adopted a second set of 6-month amendments on May 7, 2018 to address residential garage standards and the Sawmill Character Protection Overlay.
